The Pudding Nouveau(Tai Hang) - Simple yet decent French restaurant

Amongst shabby streets packed with old garages, it's hard to imagine a decent French restaurant situated right there. The furnishing is simple and tidy, the warm lighting is comfy and feels like home.

The main courses on the menu highlighted with fusion of sweet and savory, such as 'Lobster + Caramel custard', 'Grilled Duck + waffle'. I picked the signature dish 'Duck confit waffle egg benedict'. The benedict was done just about right, egg-white soft and spongy, egg-yolk warm and fluid. The grilled duck seasoned well, texture was light and crispy. The waffle was slightly sweetened and it matched perfectly with the savory tops. Garnished with crispy lettuces, this dish was undeniably lovely.

For the drinks, I picked 'Fresh lime mint soda', it tasted quite tart and nearly unsweetened, perfect for any lo-calers.

The baseline:
The price of foods is not cheap, but they have delivered reasonably decent quality. I recommend this restaurant.
